Easy Ways to Make Delicious Eggs

Did you know a satisfying home-cooked meal can be on your table in minutes thanks to one secret ingredient—eggs! Think about it; they’re incredibly versatile, budget-friendly, and easy to make. You can fry them up, hard boil them, or even scramble them for a fast yet filling meal. And if you really want to get crackin’, make any of these six easy egg recipes for breakfast, lunch, or dinner!


1. Sous Vide Egg Bites

Save yourself a trip to your local coffee shop by making your own Sous Vide Egg Bites. With the Deluxe Multi Cooker, you can create a temperature-controlled water bath that’ll deliver perfectly creamy egg bites every time. Fill the Silicone Egg Bites Mold with a mixture of eggs, cottage cheese, salt, and your favorite fillings (sausage, cheese, or veggies), place the mold in the inner pot of the Deluxe Multi Cooker, and select Sous Vide. Then, you’ll be rewarded with protein-packed egg bites that you can enjoy at home or in the car!


2. Hard-Boiled Eggs

Love hard-boiled eggs but don’t want to constantly keep your eyes on the stove? Then, we’ve got a great solution for you! Our Deluxe Multi Cooker includes an Egg setting that helps you make easy-to-peel hard-boiled eggs with creamy cooked yolks. Here’s how you can make them.

  1. Place the wire rack in the inner pot of the Deluxe Multi Cooker
  2. Add 1 cup (250 mL) of water to the inner pot and place 6 eggs on the wire rack.
  3. Place and lock the lid. Then, select EGG. Press and hold the start button.
  4. When the timer goes off, press CANCEL and then the steam-release button.
  5. Remove the eggs and immediately put them in ice-cold water for several minutes. This will prevent them from overcooking.

The wonderful thing about hard-boiled eggs is that they make a great high-protein snack. You can add them to a salad or sandwich, slice and serve them on toast, or even enjoy them on their own (sprinkled with a little Everything Bagel Seasoning, of course!).


3. No-Shell Hard-Boiled Eggs

While the process of making hard-boiled eggs seems easy enough, it can be a tedious task to peel them. That’s why we came up with a no-shell version that you can make with the Deluxe Multi Cooker and the Silicone Egg Bites Mold. Here’s how you can make them.

  1. Fill the inner pot of the Deluxe Multi Cooker with 1 cup (250 mL) of water.
  2. Spray the wells of the Silicone Egg Bites Mold with oil.
  3. Next, crack an egg into each well and cover the mold with the lid. Place it on the cradle within the pot.
  4. Select the STEAM setting and let it cook for 7 minutes. When the timer goes off, press CANCEL and allow the steam to naturally release for 5 minutes. Release any remaining steam and remove the hard-boiled eggs.

And because you don’t have to worry about removing any of the shells, you can enjoy your hard-boiled eggs right away! Use them to make your own egg salad, a cobb salad, or delicious deviled eggs.


4. Sous Vide Poached Eggs in the Shell

Whether it’s on toast or mixed in ramen, poached eggs go with just about everything. And with the Deluxe Multi Cooker, you can make them without the stress of swirling water and broken yolks on the stovetop. Instead, use the Sous Vide setting to slowly cook your eggs, resulting in warm runny yolks encased in perfectly poached egg whites. Here’s how you can make them.

  1. Fill the inner pot of the Deluxe Multi Cooker just below the ½ mark. Lock the lid in place and select SOUS VIDE. Then, adjust the temperature to 146°F (64°C), set the timer to 1 hour, and press START.
  2. After it beeps and “Add” appears, open the lid and gently add 6 eggs in the shell to the water. Lock the lid and press START.
  3. When the timer guest off, press CANCEL. Then, carefully remove the eggs with a slotted spoon or spider strainer.
  4. Crack the cooked eggs directly on top of food or in a small bowl.

You can make any meal better with a poached egg. Try it on top of a burger, mix it into pasta, or add to your morning breakfast bowl. The possibilities are truly endless!


5. Poached Eggs Made in the Microwave

Want to know another quick way to make perfectly poached eggs? Use our Ceramic Egg Cooker! This handy little product can make all kinds of hot, healthy breakfasts—from quick omelets to instant oatmeal—with just the help of a microwave. Here’s how you can use it to poach an egg.

  1. Crack an egg into the Ceramic Egg Cooker and pierce the yolk with a fork.
  2. Pour ⅓ cup (75 mL) of water into the Ceramic Egg Cooker and cover it with the lid.
  3. Microwave it on HIGH for 35 seconds (or until the egg white is firm). Let the Ceramic Egg Cooker rest for 1 minute in the microwave before removing.
  4. Next, using the lid to hold the egg inside the container, gently pour out the water.

TIP: If you’d like a firmer yolk, let the egg stand in the water for 20–30 seconds longer.

This type of poached egg makes a lovely addition to avocado toast, eggs Benedict, and cheese grits. If you’re in the mood for something more savory, add it to a homemade breakfast bowl with peppers, potatoes, and other veggies.


6. Soft-Boiled Eggs Made in a Saucepan

Soft-boiled eggs have a wonderful jammy, almost custard-like yolk that’s delicious on its own or mixed in different dishes. However, getting a perfect soft-boil with just-set whites and warm, almost runny yolks can be a challenge. Luckily, we have a foolproof recipe that makes amazing soft-boiled eggs every time. Here’s how you can make them.

  1. Bring water to a boil in a saucepan, making sure there’s enough water to cover your eggs completely.
  2. Add the eggs to the boiling water and increase the heat from medium to high to ensure a gentle boil.
  3. Cover the saucepan and simmer for 7 minutes.
  4. Remove the eggs and immediately place them in an ice-water bath to stop the cooking process.

Now, what do you do with these soft-boiled eggs? Serve them on toast, mix them into ramen or sauteed veggies, or use them to top off your salads.
